Barrack Place has opened in Sydney’s CBD. The eatery-lined laneway is a new age food and beverage destination, inspired by New York and Melbourne’s laneways.
Creating pedestrian link between Martin Place, Barangaroo and Darling Harbour, the precinct was designed to bring a selection of cafes and grab-and-go options anchored by a major restaurant to the Barrack Place tower and beyond.
Several new and established brands will provide a range of options.
Fishbowl will dish up sashimi salads, while Bar Pho will offer pho made with locally sourced ingredients and Cali Press will dole out compressed juices, smoothies and whole foods alongside substantial healthy lunch options. Batch Espresso will serve up handmade pastries and specialty brew coffee from its Parisian-style fit-out.
Newcomers include specialty coffee shop St Dreux and Chinese street food purveyor Mo’st, with coffee house Billy Blargo set to open soon.
Coming later in the year is Firegrill, with executive chef George Francisco joined by sommelier John Clancy and mixologist Toby Hiscox.
