Nestlé Professional customers in Australia and New Zealand are being offered a free, professional, confidential coaching and support service in response to the significant challenges faced by many food service businesses.

Specialist coaches from Nestlé partner Benestar can listen and offer guidance through challenging issues in all aspects of life – physical, mental, social and financial – as well as offering coaching on ways to enhance wellbeing.

Nestlé Business Executive Officer Scott Stuckmann said, “We are aiming to do whatever we can to make a positive difference and help those who need it the most during these difficult times, as we understand that many of our customers are experiencing significant hardship. Offering some assistance can go a long way in these uncertain times, with even the smallest gestures having the potential to make a big difference to both individuals and broader communities.”

This initiative is part of a wider commitment from Nestlé Australia, which is donating a minimum of $2 million in products – $500,000 each fortnight – over two months to Australians who need it most.

Extending its partnership with Foodbank, Nestlé is providing support to communities across the country facing increasing uncertainty with the aim of supporting Australians who are most at need, including the vulnerable and elderly. The donation includes food items such as coffee, cereals, meal bases and pet food.

Nestlé Oceania CEO Sandra Martinez said: “Together with Foodbank and the Girls Academy, we are aiming to do what we can to make a positive difference and help those Australians who need it the most during these difficult times.”

The announcement builds on a global partnership announced between Nestlé and the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), which will provide urgent help for emergency services and caregivers and strengthen healthcare systems.

As part of the emergency response, the IFRC is providing immediate help to strengthen health care systems, where the need is greatest.
