The team from Hunter Valley winery Mount Pleasant are set to host a one-night dinner event, A Journey of Wines Through Time, on 25 August at Beckett’s Bistro in Sydney’s Glebe.

Beckett’s Co-founder and Executive Chef Jeff Schroeter will team up with Concept Hospitality’s Justin North to create a five-course tasting menu.

The food will be matched with 12 different Mount Pleasant wines selected by the brand’s Chief Winemaker Adrian Sparks.

“To have a hand in designing a new wine experience with the likes of Beckett’s is thrilling; showcasing the history, evolution and diversity of Mount Pleasant’s wines is a real privilege,” says Sparks.

Schroeter will bring his passion for local produce and champion pioneers in the industry with a thoughtfully curated menu.

“We couldn’t think of a better way to continue our ‘Town & Country’ series by showcasing one of Australia’s most historic and precious vineyards, right here in NSW’s Hunter Valley,” he says.

“We’re big fans of Australian vineyards with heritage behind them, so reviving the French and European classics dishes and pairing them with rare wines in an iconic space like Beckett’s is going to be very special.”

The event will be held from 6 until 10 pm.

Tickets are $175 pp for Club members and $195 for non-members.
