Rooty Hill RSL is set to launch new venue, Made By The Hill, on July 28. The space will feature well-known Sydney operators, including Chur Burger and Pasticceria Papa, which will serve up baked ricotta cheesecake, cannoli, pistachio biscuits and more.

The venue will offer a modern menu bursting with fresh local ingredients and big flavours, including gourmet cheese and charcuterie boards, salads and pizzas, all designed for the individual or to be shared with friends.

Altis architecture were the lead design consultants on the upgrade to Rooty Hills bar, cafe and Chur Burger, with design firm TomMarkHenry also working on the multi-million dollar space.

The space has a Scandinavian inspired aesthetic with a palette of dusty pinks, pine yellows and pops of green throughout. The spacious venue has an open floor plan with long tables for big groups and intimate booths for smaller groups.

“After more than 12 months of planning we are thrilled to open this huge new venue that is unlike anything else in Western Sydney,” said Made By The Hill general manager, Simon Greally.

“Made By The Hill will bring everything you love about the City — the boutique bars and lounges, mouth-watering food and trendy cocktails straight to the heart of the west.”

Cocktails will also be on offer, alongside a selection of craft beers, ciders and a range of local and international wines.
