Restaurant LEaders Summit 2018, 30 July 2018, Park Hyatt, East Melbourne.

There’s just a few more days to secure early bird tickets for the Hospitality Leaders Summit. Restaurant trade and suppliers each save $100 until 29 June.

The summit will be held at the Grand Ballroom in Randwick Racecourse, Sydney on Monday 29 July and will feature more than 30 of the industry’s best and brightest.

The summit will feature a keynote presentation, two Q&As, seven panel discussions and streamed sessions for the first time, giving delegates the opportunity to select which speakers they want to see.

Bringing his experience as the only person in the Asia-Pacific to have worked at both Facebook and Twitter, keynote speaker Nick Bowditch will offer attendees invaluable advice about using storytelling and social marketing to increase sales.

Celebrated chef, author and restaurateur Christine Manfield, will sit down with MC Alex Herbert to discuss everything from her decision to close her last restaurant to how travel has kick-started a new chapter in her career.

Flour and Stone’s Nadine Ingram will also sit down for a Q&A, while panel sessions will include Solo Chefs and Group Operators (Three Blue Ducks’ Paul Dewhurst, ACME’s Mitch Orr, Arthur’s Tristan Rosier, Solotel’s Tara Sullivan); The Future of Marketing (Savannah PR’s Brooke Burns; Example’s Andrew Cavallaro, Buffet Digital’s Sophie McComas, Reymond Communications’ Joanna Reymond-Burns); and developing a venue from Concept to Concrete (Speakeasy Group’s Sven Almenning, Merivale’s Sam Egerton, Concept Hospitality’s Justin North, Applejack Hospitality’s Hamish Watts).

There will also be sessions covering mental health, attracting and retaining staff, and the potential of pop-ups, merchandise and food festivals, as well as 2020 trends. Plus, plenty of opportunities to network with your peers.
