Kazzi Beach Greek restaurant has opened in Bondi, joining its portfolio of beachside eateries in Sydney.
The new addition is located on O’Brien Street and is a milestone launch for the group, which also operates Kazzi venues in Balmoral and Manly. “Opening in Bondi is a particularly meaningful milestone for us,” says Founder Peter Papas. “It is not only one of Australia’s most iconic beaches and cultural landmarks, but also a dynamic blend of lifestyle, community, and global food influences. Our venues are centred around Greek Island-style dining, where guests come together to enjoy a friendly atmosphere serving authentic, flavoursome food by the sea.”
The Bondi location is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week, serving signature Mediterranean dishes of octopus, lamb and chicken wraps, meat platters, and Greek sweets including an array of shortbreads and galaktoboureko.
“We are thrilled to bring the essence of the Greek Islands and the soul of Greek hospitality to the heart of Bondi,” says Papas. “A Kazzi Beach Greek taverna in Bondi represents a celebration of both Greek warmth and Australian beach culture. A perfect pairing.”
The team will soon announce a fourth location, which is slated to open in early 2026.
