Alessandro Frassica from Florence’s renowned panini shop Ino is coming to Sydney this February, taking up residency at Sammy Junior and Maybe Sammy.
The sandwich shop has become a go-to destination for guests to enjoy some of Italy’s best paninis since Frassica launched the deli in 2006.
Ino secured the no.2 position for best sandwich by 50 Top Italy 2023 and was named the Best Designer Sandwich at the 2022 Food and Wine Italia Awards, so you know you’re in for something special come 8 February.
The Ino founder will create a menu of paninis based on ingredients he sources in Sydney, with the menu set to showcase the best produce the city has to offer.
Frassica’s signature paninis will be available from 12:30pm until 3:30pm at Sammy Junior, with mini versions on offer at Maybe Sammy on 9 February from 4:30pm until 7:30pm.
Maybe Sammy’s $7 (until 5:30pm) mini cocktails are the perfect accompaniment to the paninis for those keen to experience the ultimate aperitivo session.
There are no bookings available for the one-off events, so best to arrive early to get your hands on one of Italy’s best sandwiches.
