Applications are now open for the 2022 Hostplus Hospitality scholarship supported by the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival.
The program is making a comeback after a 2 year hiatus and is open to hospitality workers in multiple disciplines across the industry.
Past finalists include everyone from chefs, front of house and managers to baristas, winemakers and butchers.
The winner of the scholarship will have their work experience tailored to suit their career interests and skills.
This year’s prize will include five-days of work experience within Australia with all flights and accommodation covered, plus $1000 cash.
In addition, the winner will receive up to $5000 to spend on training with an agreed and approved education provider, or on equipment and assets that will progress professional development.
$500 worth of Melbourne Food and Wine Festival tickets for 2023 will also be apart of the prize, alongside the opportunity to be partnered with a local industry leader for a year-long mentorship.
The winner will be announced on Monday 22 August 2022.
Submissions close on 27 June at 5:59pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time.
