Laundy Group pub The Horse & Jockey Hotel has teamed up with chef Kim ‘Missy K’ Udomdj to develop a Pan-Asian culinary offering.
The chef has worked in kitchens for more than 30 years, including at her own restaurant in Paddington, which was revered for its dumplings.
“We’re incredibly excited to work with Missy K,” says Laundy Group Executive Chef Jamie Gannon. “Her dedication to bold, authentic flavours and her ability to elevate everyday ingredients into something extraordinary aligns perfectly with the Horse & Jockey’s mission to deliver unforgettable dining experiences. We’re thrilled to bring this fusion of exciting flavours to our venue, and we can’t wait for guests to experience what we’ve created together.”
The new menu is designed for guests to share and kicks off with a selection of small plates including pork and garlic chive dumplings, prawn and spinach dumplings, and cuttlefish and prawn toast with chilli jam.
Other menu items cover roast pork belly with chilli and ginger paste; crab fried rice with XO sauce; lamb shank rendang; and Dan Dan Sichuan noodles.
The pub, which has been around since 1809, has also undergone a refresh and recently debuted a new look after the completion of a major renovation.
The restaurant is open seven days a week from 11am Friday to Sunday and from 11:30am Monday to Thursday.
