The organisers of Good Beer Week 2016 are calling upon those wishing to host an event to register before applications close on 31 October.
Now in its sixth year, the event has been described by some international brewers as ‘the best beer week in the world,’ and has experienced growth of 400 percent since it first launched in May 2011. The 2016 event is expected to cap the program at a similar size to 2015 which featured 250 events across 180 venues.
Due to the ever increasing popularity of the craft beer segment, the festival committee is expecting to receive a record number of applications for the 2016 event and as such, only the best applications will be excepted.
Similar to the 2015 event, Good Beer Week 2016 will be split into five streams; Beer 101, Beer Lover, Beer Geek, Foodie and Good Times, and will run for nine days across Melbourne and Victoira.
