BioPak’s limited edition OzHarvest Christmas cups are returning to support surplus food rescue programs.
All 8oz and 12oz Art Series BioCups will have a limited-edition Christmas design with a QR code so coffee drinkers can donate directly to OzHarvest – which will support their aims to rescue surplus food and deliver it to people in need.
BioPak will also donate 5 per cent of profits from all the Christmas cup sales in November to OzHarvest. For every $1 that goes to OzHarvest, two meals will reach people who need it.
BioPak Co-Founder Richard Fine says they are proud to continue their long-term partnership with OzHarvest, to support Australians facing food insecurity.
“By simply enjoying a coffee, people can fund meals for those who need them most,” says Fine.
The cups – which are certified industrially compostable – are part of a longstanding partnership between BioPak and OzHarvest which started in 2013.
OzHarvest Joint Head Of Impact Hally Lara says they are excited to see the return of the festive cups, which not only brighten cafes and restaurants but also provide a simple way for everyone to make a real difference.
