Located within the bar area of Japanese street food hotspot, Tokyo Tina, Thundercat Supper Club will now be serving up snacks and beverages late on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
Open from 10pm, the venue will be providing Melbourne’s night owls with a place to find decadent bites long after the traditional closing time of surrounding kitchens.
The menu comprises a selection of favourites from the Tokyo Tina kitchen including DIY beef bao; karaage chicken ribs; a selection of dumplings and a Japanese inspired charcuterie platter.
Cocktails and spirits will also be available until the early hours.
“We’re excited to welcome our new pet Thundercat Supper Club to the family,” says Simon Blacher, partner at Tokyo Tina.
“It’s our delivery of late night hip hop, whisky and really good booze food.”
The venue will be complete with its own street entrance on Chapel Street, with Blacher adding that the venue is positioned as an ideal place for hospitality workers who are seeking out a post-service feed.
