Belles Hot Chicken have announced their inaugural guest chef series, Rulers of the Roost, which will officially commence on 29 July.
Founder and chef Morgan McGlone has hand-picked chefs from Sydney and Melbourne to create their own spin on the venue’s signature menu.
Peter Jo (Shik), Monty Koludrovic (Icebergs) and Shannon Martinez (Smith & Daughters) are the first round of chefs to be revealed, with more announcements to come.
Guest chefs will create their own menus that will consist of a hot chicken dish, a side and a cocktail.
Jo will host the first event on 29 July from 3-7pm at Belles Hot Chicken Fitzroy.
Previously the sommelier at Belles, Jo opened his debut restaurant earlier this year to much acclaim.
His menu includes Shik fried chicken and secret style chicken ribs along with a side of Shik kimchi and a pear, Ouzo and Soju cocktail.
