Australian Venue Co. (AVC) has continued its venue blitz with the acquisition of two regional Queensland pubs.

The Commonwealth Hotel and the White Bull Tavern in Roma are now part of the burgeoning AVC venue portfolio.

The group says there are no major changes planned for either pub, with weekly promotions also remaining as is.

“Australian Venue Co is investing significantly in the Queensland market and that includes acquiring the operations of regional venues,” says Paul Waterson, CEO of AVC.

“We are proud to be taking over such fantastic pubs in the town of Roma, which is the main hub for the surrounding country areas, and we are looking forward to working with the local teams.

“AVC prioritises building great pubs for communities and investing in the Commonwealth Hotel and White Bull Tavern is another testament to that.”

There are now more than 160 venues under the AVC umbrella, with recent acquisitions revolving around regional venues.
