Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art will be home to a temporary gin garden, operating from December to early February, 2016.

The gallery’s first ever pop-up bar, Gin Garden will launch on 4 December, coinciding with the MCA’s Sydney International Art Series exhibition, Grayson Perry: My Pretty Little Art Career, which will run from 10 December, 2015 to 1 May, 2016.

In order to bring Gin Garden to life, MCA teamed up with gin brand Archie Rose as well as craft brewers, Young Henrys.

“The ultimate celebration of British eccentricity with a twist of Antipodean flair, its menu will offer a range of creative cocktails featuring native ingredients and juniper inspired culinary delights,” a statement announcing the launch reads.

Museum of Contemporary Art director, Elizabeth Ann Macgregor OBE, said ‘Our Grayson Perry-inspired Gin Garden will be a wonderful spot to enjoy a post-exhibition tipple, have a great conversation about contemporary art and make the most of Sydney’s balmy summer evenings.”

The bar will be open Thursdays to Sundays, from 4pm till late.
