One of Australia’s major suppliers of commercial glassware has extended its offering to the foodservice and hospitality markets as a result of an acquisition.
Crown Commercial is now able to offer crockery and cutlery following the acquisition by McPherson’s Consumer Products (MCP) of Oneida Australia.
As part of the MCP group, Crown Commercial’s foodservice portfolio has now been boosted allowing it to add to its existing brands—Crown Glassware and Luigi Bormioli—a new range of well known brands.
The new brands it is now distributing include Stanley Rogers cutlery, Duraceram dinnerware, Sant’ Andrea 4 and 5 star foodservice cutlery, Viners cutlery, Oneida cutlery and associated accessories, Schönwald classic porcelain dinnerware and glassware, and Wedgewood prestige bone china.
Crown Commercial general manager Andrew Luttrell said that becoming a ‘one-stop tabletop shop’ was a strategy the company had been careful in putting together “to ensure those brands included have the appropriate pedigree, quality, longevity and respect to complement our existing portfolio”.
The Oneida operations and brands came under the MCP umbrella from the end of February.
