Ramsay headlines for Sydney food show

With ratings for his televisions shows soaring and news of plans for one of his restaurants in Melbourne, comes the announcement that Gordon Ramsay will be coming to Australia in June to be the star attraction at the Sydney Good Food and Wine Show.

The high-profile, expletive loving chef is being brought to Australia by event organisers Diversified Exhibitions Australia to headline the Diners Club Celebrity Theatre presented by LifeStyle Food Channel at the show to be held from June 20-22.

Exhibition director James Laing said the audience capacity for the theatre has been increased in anticipation of the popularity of Ramsay. “In terms of international chefs they don’t come any bigger than Gordon and we’ve had to increase the capacity of the Diners Club Celebrity Theatre to accommodate the bumper crowd that is expected to attend this year’s Good Food & Wine Show,” he said.

Visitors to the show this year will have the opportunity to learn Ramsay’s kitchen secrets or meet the man himself at the signing of his latest book, 3 Star Chef.

This year the Sydney Good Food & Wine Show will also see new features and highlights including hands-on cooking classes, a coffee school, Lyndey Milan’s regional producers market, a restaurant dining experience and a special After Dark session.
