The Perth Food and Beverage Expo, which will be held at the Claremont Showgrounds on May 27 and 28 is an opportunity for businesses and suppliers across the food and beverage supply chain to present new innovations and technologies to the manufacturing, retail and hospitality industry.
Approximately 100 exhibitors from across Australia, along with international agents, will come together at this 3,000 sqm exhibition pavilion for the first time.
According to Andrea Berteit, CEO of Food Industry Association WA, exhibitors at the food and beverage focused event will include those involved in packaging, waste management solutions, cleaning products, environmental services and distribution as well as representatives from Food Standards and other government organisations.
There will also be a program of seminars and a concurrent industry networking event which will offer exhibitors and trade visitors networking opportunities with both suppliers and customers.
"We have about 16 seminars over the two days and they'll be looking at sustainability in food processing, packaging solutions and trends, traceability of products, new retail concepts for the industry ... occupational health and safety and some legal standards that the industry has to comply with," Berteit said.
Exhibitors include J.L. Lennard Food Equipment,
Freshcorp, Casa Dairy, Omron Electronics, Murray River Salt and The Le Mac Australia Group.
