Foodservice operators will soon begin being targeted to sign up to a new loyalty rewards program designed especially for the foodservice sector.

The new program, Foodservice Rewards, is a reward points redemption program and is being introduced to Australia after having strong success in the United States where it was launched seven years ago, and in the UK where it started three years ago.

The program is rolling out with major foodservice manufacturers Nestle Professional and Goodman Fielder Foodservices as the first sponsors to come on board.

Yellow stickers will begin appearing on more than thirty brands of merchandise from Nestle Professional and Goodman Fielder Foodservices. The stickers feature codes that end user operators such as chefs, restaurateurs, food and beverage managers, catering operators, pub/club/bistro and health and aged care operators, can key at the Foodservice Rewards website.

The end user customers who receive the products can then redeem the points they build up to claim their rewards from a range of merchandise.

The merchandise end users can choose from ranges from professional kitchen and back of house equipment to plasma televisions and ipods.

Registration for Foodservice Rewards is free at www.foodservicerewards.com
