Mezzo Bar & Grill's Luke Stringer has once again united Melbourne's best front of house stars to raise money for Streetsmart, a charity that helps the homeless.

The event was held for the first time last year, and as the event convener, Stringer has created a team of sommeliers, restaurant managers and matron dees to serve a number of guests at Mezzo Bar and Grill on 21 March, 2010.

Adam Cash from Cutler & Co, Sam Christie from Longrain, Ladro's Sean Kierce, Jacques Reymond's Chris Young and Simon Denton from Verge/Izakaya Den will join Stringer and donate their time to present a six course dinner which will see signature dishes from each of their restaurants matched to their favourite wines.

Stringer came up with the Front of House All Stars concept after throwing a few ideas around with some sommelier and front of house peers. "We've all known each other for ages and we rarely get a chance to work together," he said. "Often such events  focus on the collaboration of chefs, which is of course wonderful. But we thought we'd create a fun event that involves the people that make the floor of a restaurant tick, and in doing so raise some important funds for a not-for-profit organisation".
