Goodman Fielder has released Crisco high-oleic canola oil. Unlike regular canola oil it is suitable for both deep and shallow frying. It also offers a longer fry life than regular canola.

It is high in monounsaturated fats, low in saturated fats, cholesterol free and is approved by the Heart Foundation.

It’s available in a 15L bag in box format. The box is 100% recyclable, easy to store and lighter to carry than the traditional 20L tin. The attached tap also allows the dispensing of small quantities.

A range of Crisco vegetable oils have recently been relaunched, including Crisco Sunola, Crisco Liquid Gold, Crisco Canola and Crisco Sunflower.
