Global food trends under the spotlight

Global foodservice trends will be in the agenda at the Foodservice Industry Association’s special Foodservice Forum coinciding with next week’s Fine Food Australia and featuring Nestle’s foodservice marketing head as keynote speaker.

Patrick Stobbs is head of marketing foodservice and industrial with Nestle who has had 25 years working with the foodservice multi-national Nestle all over the world, including 19 years in Canada in various roles.

He has also worked at Nestle’s global headquarters and was part of its Foodservice Strategic Business unit. He has also held the positions of Global Communications Manager FS SBU and then assumed the role of Commercial Manager for FS Zone AOA ( Africa , Oceania , Asia ) in November 2003.

Key points he will address in his presentation to the breakfast forum will include an overview of the global foodservice business, global trends, implications for foodservice and the Australian response.

The four day Fine Food Australia show kicks off on next Monday at the Meboune Exhibition Centre.
