Dubai beckons for young regional chefs

The search is on for up and coming young regional chefs to apply for a new scholarship award offering a range of opportunities for the successful candidate including a trip to Dubai to attend the World Association of Chefs Societies World Congress.

The scholarship is specially designed to give outstanding young chefs from regional areas the chance to meet and work with the world’s best and gain invaluable experience, international inspiration and a chance to develop their own creativity.

Up to six young chefs selected as finalists will travel to NSW and nearby food and wine areas for a week spending the time working alongside some of Australia’s best know chefs in high-end food and beverage operations.

From the group the chef who shows the most promise, ability and creativity will during the assessment componenet will receive the scholarship to travel to Dubai.

The scholarship will be presented in September at the industry trade event Fine Food Australia.
