The Sydney hotel is the first property to move to the Travelodge brand since it was taken over by Toga Hospitality in April.

At that time Toga’s managing director, Allan Vidor, said the company planned to expand Travelodge across Australia and into New Zealand.

“Only a short time on,” he said, “we’re proud to announce that the expansion has already begun.”

Travelodge Wynyard, in the Sydney CBD, has 270 guest rooms, a restaurant and bar, and extensive facilities for meetings.
