Chefs descend on Sydney for World Chefs Showcase

There are still tickets available to the first annual World Chef Showcase, a major gathering of international and Australian chefs taking place in Sydney this weekend.

The World Chefs Showcase is a highlight of the Sydney International Food Festival (SIFF) taking place all this month.

It’s the first time such a stellar cast of some of the world’s culinary leaders and innovators has been assembled all on one weekend.

The chefs on the program cover cuisines from chefs from Thailand and Vietnam, China, Japan, France and Spain.

Michelin star chefs who are coming to the World Chef Showcase include Sergi Arola (Madrid, Gastro), Alexandre Bourdas (Normandy, Sa.Qua.Na), Sebastien Bras (France, The Bras Restaurant), David Thompson (London, Nahm), and Alvin Leung (Hong Kong, Bo Innovation).

The line up also includes Australia;s most acclaimed chefs such as Tetsuya Wakuda, Peter Gilmore, Mark Best, Sean Connolly, Chui Lee Luk and Justin North.
