Love and Big Band 40s Entertainment on the cards this Valentine’s Day at Harrigan’s Hunter Valley, NSW
A Big Band 1940s feel has been planned for the ultimate romantic days of old experience, with a gorgeous dinner menu for two on February 14.
David Assef, Manager of Harrigan’s Irish Pub & Accommodation says, “Our Valentine’s Day evening will entertain couples of all ages as they enjoy a stunning three course meal and be entertained by Eddy Seven who will make them feel like Frank Sinatra is right there in the room singing especially for them.”
Valentine’s Day Dinner for$49 per head features a three course meal, will be served with champagne on arrival complete with a box of ‘Roses Chocolates’.
The menu for lovers will consist of:
Entree
Shared Antipasto platter with a selection of grilled vegetables, marinated olives, bocconcini, toasted Turkish bread and dips.
Main choice of Saltimbocca chicken breast stuffed with smoked ham and Swiss cheese, topped with a creamy mushroom sauce and served with roast kipfler potatoes, OR oven baked blue eye cod fillet on dill and lemon risotto cake with Hunter Valley Semillon beurre blanc.
Dessert
A trio to share of passion fruit semi freddo, rose panna cotta and a rich chocolate tart served with strawberries, and a cup of tea or coffee.
From 6.30pm to 8.30pm couples will be serenaded by Eddy Seven who will recreate the 1940s era where swing was king.
Accompanied by a seven piece big band, Eddy Seven will excite the audience with numbers from all the greats of the era such as Bing Cosby, Dean Martin, and Bobby Darin.
For those looking to extend their celebration, Harrigan’s four star accommodation on site features the “Romance Package” for $189 which includes one night at Harrigan’s Irish Pub & Accommodation and a hot Breakfast for two.

This Valentines Day, Uncorked at The Union Hotel in North Sydney has designed a five course degustation menu including a complimentary Kir Royal Champagne cocktail on arrival for $85.00 per person.
