IF you are looking for something special to serve at the bar or add to your cocktail list you might want to take a tip from premium ice cream company Homer Hudson which teamed with the staff at Sydney’s moog wine + food restaurant and bar last month to whip up a sweet selection of indulgent cocktails.

This cocktails, Chocolate Rock Star and Hoboken Crunch Float, debuted at a launch party at moog which included a performance by singer Isaac.

Hoboken Crunch Float is a mix of Mount Gay rum, vanilla liqueur, Homer Hudson Hoboken Crunch and ginger beer, served in a high ball or pilsner glass and garnished with a maraschino cherry.

Chocolate Rock Star is a mix of vodka, chambord, vanilla liqueur, Homer Hudson Chocolate Rock ice cream and crushed ice, served in a martini glass and garnished with crushed chocolate on the rim.

Homer Hudson managing director Lawrence Vincent said he was proud to bring Australians the “honest to goodness truth in ice cream”. “Fans of Homer Hudson ice cream will be thrilled to learn another way to consume it,” Vincent said. “These cocktails show that Homer can be naughty and nice.”

The drinks will be on moog’s cocktail menu for three months.
