The food festival Taste of Sydney is fast approaching and there’s even more of a reason to attend if you are in the hospitality industry.

The festival that’s returning to Sydney for the second year has a packed program of food and drinks.
The produce market will feature more than 50 top end boutique food and drink suppliers showcasing the best of the culinary scene with authentic local produce. Cheese makers, organic farmers, wine makers and brewers from across the country will be there with samples of Australia’s finest.
Taste of Sydney supporting partner, the upmarket butcher Victor Churchill will be setting up a marquee delivering quality fresh meats, imported gourmet dry products and packaged desserts and will also offer the chance to win $5000.
In the wine award-winning producers, McGuigan Wines will offer the first public tasting of its new Shortlist Riesling, following an incredible year taking out both International and Australian Winemaker of the Year in 2009.
De Bortoli Wines will also be showcasing two new ranges at this year’s event including the light and fruity DBHV Field Blend, and the European style Rococo sparkling wines.
Meanwhile, visitors to the Taylors Wines stand will be able to sample all of the award winning wines from the Estate Range, Eighty Acres Range, Jaraman Range and St Andrews range. Taylors will also introduce the world’s first 100% carbon neutral Eighty Acres range, chosen to feature in Copenhagen, the World’s most important environmental forum.
At the Kronenbourg Bar you can enjoy the French foods of Marque and Guillaume with the unique French blend of a Kronenbourg beer.
And Nick Palumbo from Messina Gelato will be demonstrating the traditional, labour intensive Sicilian methods to create decadent gelato flavours such as Pecan Pie.
Taste of Sydney guests can also sample some of the best New Zealand has to offer at the Taste of New Zealand marquee, providing a mouth-watering opportunity to discover the diverse range of New Zealand wine and food available in Australia. Taste of New Zealand will be offering sophisticated, premium products including superb seafood, award-winning cheese, decadent ice cream and a range of unique New Zealand wine varieties.
From the pristine waters of Marlborough New Zealand, Regal King Salmon will be on show to tantalise the taste buds.
